Smallville revolves around Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and his burgeoning career at the Daily Planet alongside his future love, Lois Lane (Erica Durance). He's supported by his friends, Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore) and Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley) as they deal with Lex Luthor's replacement, Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman), who unleashes a new world of danger. Newcomer Davis Bloome (Sam Witwer), a paramedic with a mysterious past reveals a darker side that he would prefer to remain hidden. Clark must continue to keep his origins a secret whilst battling Kryptonian enemies and eventually face the ultimate destroyer Doomsday.

Episode 12 - Warrior

Zatanna goes to a comic book convention to find an enchanted comic book and asks Clark for his help. While Lois sees them together and becomes jealous, Chloe is rescued from an accident by a teenager who has acquired the comic book and used it to become Warrior Angel.

Episode 11 - Absolute Justice
Smallville.S09E11.HDTV-FQM

A middle-aged man wielding an energy rod comes to see Chloe, and asks for her help forming a team of heroes. However, an ice-wielding metahuman attacks and kills him. Chloe and Clark soon discover that the man was one of several heroes from decades past, and the killer is targeting the group. Searching for more information, they meet museum curator Carter Hall, homeless wanderer Kent Nelson, and teenager Courtney Whitmore... all members of the same group, the Justice Society of America. Meanwhile, Lois is given several leads on a story involving the JSA by a mysterious woman working for a government organization known as Checkmate.

Episode 09 - Pandora

Tess kidnaps Lois to find out where Lois went after she disappeared for weeks. Lois’s memory of the future depicts a Metropolis under Zod’s rule and Clark powerless under the red sun, while Chloe forms a resistance group with Oliver. After learning of these future events, Clark makes an important decision about Zod.

Oliver, meanwhile, is continuing his own self-destructive patterns and may beat Toyman to the punch.
